I'll try to keep you updated on my blog and Instagram. I will do my best, promise!

Panama Hat

Hey guys, it's time for a hat for life! I wonder about buying the Panama from Borsalino for about two years now. So, at last I decided to buy it soon, during my Italian Holiday in Milan.

Are you looking for a touch of top class? Borsalino is definitely your brand of choice. Their hats are la creme de la creme in fashionable headwear. The Panama is a timeless piece that dates back to the XVIII century. This hat has been around for ages and will forever remain a classic headwear piece.

P.S. Panama hat is the king of summer headwear although it has never been produced in Panama. It’s traditional brimmed hat of Ecuadorian origin. When Theodore Roosevelt visited the construction of the Panama Canal, he wore such a hat and greatly contributed to its spreading and popularity.

Folk and the City

I can't forget what my Bavarian friend told me once: "Do I come and  wear your traditional costume? No. So I expect the same from you. Please, don't do it. It's ridiculous."

I don't want to pretend to wearing Tracht but I couldn't resist a Country Estate Style, so I tried to do it, with a bit of irony, an Italian way. I decided to wear Moschino, which became famous for innovative, colorful, sometimes eccentric designs. In fact, Franco Moschino was highly critical of the whole fashion industry system. He didn't took his position too seriously.

P.S. Tracht is a traditional national costume in German-speaking countries. Tracht of southern Germans and Austria has inspired an entirely new fashion style characterized by the use of linen, loden and embroidery.

Summer in the City

When I imagine the summer in town I move to the sunny south... Today again, long-awaited summer is back. In my Azulejo printed silk tunic and nacre retro sunglasses I'm so happy, so heated by the sun.

P.S. Azulejo has become a typical aspect of Portuguese culture, having been produced without interruption for five centuries. J'adore! xoxo

Italian Duo

Hey guys, forgetting yesterday's timeless hangover after boho Lafayette Cruise party, I want to introduce my urban bohemian vision to you.

Everyone knows that the Marni girl has an eclectic vision of bohemian chic. It's all very charming, just-pulled-from-Grandmother's closet, comfortable but odd-fitting shapes. And so is my Marni dress - funky but feminine, never too sexy.

The Missoni woman is urban, she's blurring the line between present and past. Missoni label known for its vibrant colors and knits, is perhaps paradigmatic of the modern boho lifestyle. And there I found my sunglasses - modern to the point of futuristic, but oh so Missoni!

I like those origami cutting uses of Marni. And I'm so happy that I found them also in Missoni sunglasses.

And what means bohemian to you?
